If
you are searching for a new diamond or looking
to upgrade your current stone it is critical
that you are very familiar with the 4 C's of
diamonds.
Carat weight, Clarity, Color, and Cut all affect the look and price of a diamond in many ways and it is important that you know how. Our experience is that most shoppers focus on one or two of these "C's", usually Carat Weight and Clarity. Almost always the most neglected is the "Cut" (proportions) of the diamond. This is perhaps because it is the hardest to evaluate without training. (Also because it is the most abused by cutters who practice extensive weight saving to increase their profits.) Follow
